Itinery This is an example itinery, we are able to put together an itinery to suit your requirements. 1. Approximately 1 hour from Dogmersfield Park, near Fleet, Hampshire to visit Historic Portsmouth, in the Heart of Hampshire. In 1812 Dickens was born here in Portsmouth. 2. Portsmouth is famous for its links with Royal Navy which was started by Richard The Lion Heart and continues today. The Navy plays a big part of what goes on in Portsmouth, and you can visit HM Royal Navy Base where you can see the famous Tudor Ship Mary Rose, she was raised from the Solent and is very well preserved, also at the base you may wish to visit HMS Warrior. 3. Portsmouth is famous for its shopping, so we would park up for 1 hour to allow this. 4.
